The World Bank was a collaborating partner for HopeExhibit's international photography exhibit named The World's Most Influential Men, advocating for the engagement of men and boys for gender equality.
The exhibit first showed at the first global MenEngage Symposium in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil in 2009, and then toured the world, from the UN in NYC to the World Bank in Washington DC, to the EU in Brussels, to DFID/UK Aid in London, Sida in Sweden, to NGOs from India to Germany to Central America to South Africa.
At the World Bank, the exhibit was accompanied by conferences and debates/seminars with thought leaders on gender equality and positive masculinities from around the world, such as MenEngage, Promundo/Equimundo, and Men-Care.
